Biography
Dr. Deepika Kotcherla is a Research Associate at Hegemoniq, specialising in Indo-Pacific strategic affairs and international security. Her research primarily focuses on India-Australia bilateral relations, great power competition, and China’s strategic and economic engagement in the region, along with their implications for India’s foreign and security policy.
She holds a PhD from the Centre for Indo-Pacific Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Alongside her academic training, she has been actively engaged in policy-oriented research, contributing to institutional projects, analytical writing, and strategic assessments.
Outside of research and study, she enjoys reading, travelling, and closely following global geopolitical developments.
