Biography
Nayan Jyoti Kalita is the Founder and Executive Director of Hegemoniq, an independent geopolitical think tank he established to build a new, credible, and youth-led voice in international affairs. Driven by a passion to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world policy, Nayan’s vision is to create an institution that brings a fresh, non-partisan perspective from India’s North East to the global stage.
As Executive Director, he sets the strategic vision, manages operations, and guides the organization’s research agenda.
Nayan is also a member of the Greater West Asia Forum, India (GWAFI), supported by the Embassy of Israel in India. GWAFI operates in partnership with the American Jewish Committee and is dedicated to fostering dialogue, scholarship, and strategic engagement between India and the Greater West Asia region, encompassing the Gulf, the Levant, and North Africa.
Nayan holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application.
