Biography
Nitish Kumar Ahlawat is a Research Associate at Hegemoniq. His research interests lie in geopolitics and international security, with a focus on the contemporary dynamics of Central Asia and other post-Soviet states, India’s foreign policy, and Eurasian regional security challenges examined from a broader geopolitical perspective.
He is a PhD Scholar in Politics and International Relations at the Department of South and Central Asian Studies, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, and a UGC–JRF awardee in Political Science.
With formal training in political science and international relations, Nitish brings a rigorous and policy-oriented approach to his work. He aims to contribute analytically grounded and policy-relevant research through evidence-based analysis.
